I’m in love with jacket. The only thing I don’t love is the $656 price tag. If it weren’t for that, I’d be picking this up immediately.
Giant Artists “Now” Book
I forgot to blog about this when it was released. Only after it arrived on my front step did I think about blogging about it. Giant Artists just released this hard bound, 160 page book featuring photos, artwork, and interviews with their artists: Aaron Ruell, Blake E. Marquis, David Black, David Calderley, Emily Shur, Glynis Selina Arban, Jeremy & Claire Weiss, Jess Holzworth, Keren Richter, Lauren Dukoff, Michael Schmelling, RJ Shaughnessy, and Seth Smoot. CXXVI Anchor II + Key Bottle Opener Necklaces
CXXVI introduces there 2nd anchor necklace and a key necklace. “Hand forged steel, the old fashioned way. Heated in a coal forge and hand hammered on a 130 year-old anvil.” A great piece “handmade in the USA.” The greatest part about these are they’re bottle openers. The anchor and key are about 2” long and are on a 22” chain. I’m not sure which one I like more. More after the jump.
James Perse Reversible Zip Front Jacket
I have a pretty simple taste in clothing. I like a lot of solids and majority of my clothes are black, white, or grey. That why the James Perse line is so appealing to me. They’re focused on designing great basics. I really like this reversible jacket, especially the plaid side. More after the jump.
Montante Maserati 8CTF
In celebration of their famous 1940 win at the Indianapolis 500 known as the “Boyle Special,” Maserati teamed up with cult Italian bike builder Cicli Montante to create a limited-edition bicycle resembling the victorious fixed head, eight-cylinder 8CTF race car. With driver Wilbur Shaw behind the wheel for the second year in a row, Maserati historically took first place proving the prowess of European design. A limited run of 200 bikes were created (in commemoration of the 200 laps completed during the race), each individually numbered and selling online from Cicli Montante for €3,000.
