Levi’s Workshops “Beyond the Ballpark”

I just missed the Levi’s Workshop in San Francisco – it ended the week before I visited. I saw a guy selling an old Levi’s wooden box on the street, but didn’t have the$50 he was asking for. This video falls right right in line with my current obsession with Americana. Attendees at a recent Giants game were given limited edition baseball cards designed at Shepard Fairey’s Studio No. 1.

“Bored To Death” Season 2 Trailer

I really enjoyed Season 1 of Bored To Death. It’s probably the only show that I really enjoy on HBO anymore (Showtime owns my heart). Here comes Season 2.

Lanvin For H&M Announcement

I’m interested in seeing what comes of this. Most of the designers that partner with H&M are women’s designers, but this partnership with Lanvin is promising both men and women’s lines.

GZA’s Wu-Tang Clan Documentary

The GZA is releasing a documentary about the Wu-Tang Clan. Based on the trailer, to say there was tension in the group would be a serious understatement. This group helped change the face of rap music, and I can’t wait to see this. I’m really glad they did one final show as a full group the month before ODB died.

Words

A very cool film from Will Hoffman and Daniel Mercadante to accompany Radiolab’s Words episode. Original score by Keith Kenniff.
